Passato e presente: prospettive per l'antropologia della musica mediterranea si inserisce nel ciclo dei seminari dedicati allo studio della musica delle antiche civiltà mediterranee e costituisce il primo meeting dello Study Group on the Anthropology of Music and Mediterranean Cultures in collaborazione con l'International Council for Traditional Music (ICTM).
